In plain English
vozume collects the minimum it needs to sell and deliver B2B outbound services: your contact and billing details when you buy, and basic technical data when you browse. vozume does not sell personal information. Separately, when vozume runs campaigns for a client, it handles business-contact data about prospects on that client’s instructions — that relationship is explained in section 3.
Who we are
vozume is a B2B lead generation company and part of Marive Group. Our registered address is 418 Broadway Ste R, Albany, NY 12207, United States, and our telephone number is +1 (929) 796-4764. In this policy “vozume”, “we” and “us” mean vozume; “you” means a visitor to vozume.com or a customer of our services.
This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights available to you. It applies to vozume.com and to every service we deliver.
Two different roles
It matters which relationship you are in, because your rights and our obligations differ.
a) Your data — we are the controller
When you browse vozume.com, buy a service, call us or become a client, we decide how your information is used. Sections 3 to 8 describe that.
b) Prospect data — we are a service provider
When we build lists or run campaigns for a client, we handle business-contact information about prospects on the documented instructions of that client. The client decides who is contacted and why; we act on their behalf. We do not use prospect data for our own marketing, do not sell it, and do not move it between clients. If you received an outbound message and want to know who is behind it, or want to be suppressed, contact us using the details at the end of this page and we will pass the request to the client responsible and add the address to our suppression records.
Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Why we hold it |
|---|---|---|
| Order data | Name, business email, billing address, company name, purchase history | To take payment, deliver the service and meet tax and accounting duties |
| Enquiry data | What you tell us by phone or email, notes from a Pipeline Teardown call | To answer you and to scope work |
| Project data | Ideal customer profile, offer details, brand voice, access you grant to tools | To perform the service you bought |
| Account data | Username and password hash, if an account is created for you | To let you see your orders |
| Technical data | IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring source | Site security, and to know which marketing brought an order |
We do not ask for and do not want special category data (health, biometrics, political opinions and similar), government identifiers, or payment card numbers. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never received or stored by vozume.
How we use information
- To provide, deliver and support the services you purchase.
- To take payment and issue receipts, and to keep the financial records US and New York law requires.
- To communicate with you about an order, a project, or a question you asked.
- To secure the website and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To understand which marketing source produced an order, using the attribution cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
- To send occasional service-related updates to existing customers. Every such message includes an unsubscribe link, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.
We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Legal bases
For customers and contacts in the United States, we process personal information to perform our contract with you, to comply with law, and for our legitimate business interests in operating and securing the service.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies — for example if you are an EU-based client — our bases are: performance of a contract (order and delivery), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), and legitimate interests (site security, marketing attribution, and business-to-business communication), balanced against your rights. Where consent is the only appropriate basis, we ask for it and you may withdraw it at any time.
Who we share information with
We share only what is necessary, only with providers who are contractually bound to protect it, and never in exchange for money.
| Recipient type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Payment processor | To take card payment. They receive your billing details directly; we receive only a confirmation and the last digits of the card. |
| Hosting and infrastructure | To run vozume.com and store order records. |
| Data and verification vendors | To source and verify business-contact data for list building. |
| Email and outreach platforms | To operate campaigns, where the client has asked us to run sending. |
| Professional advisers | Accountants and lawyers, where genuinely needed. |
| Authorities | Where we are legally required to disclose, or to establish or defend legal claims. |
If vozume or Marive Group is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, personal information may transfer to the acquirer. We will say so on this page before the change takes effect.
We do not sell your personal information
vozume does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act and comparable state laws. We run no advertising pixels on vozume.com.
How long we keep it
- Order and financial records: seven years, to satisfy US federal and New York State tax and accounting requirements.
- Project files and deliverables: for the engagement plus twelve months, so we can re-issue work you have paid for.
- Enquiries that do not become orders: twenty-four months.
- Suppression records (people who asked not to be contacted): kept indefinitely, because deleting them would allow re-contact.
- Website technical logs: up to twelve months.
Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, consistent with the New York SHIELD Act, which applies to the private information of New York residents. These include encryption in transit, access controls limited to staff who need the data, hardened credentials for administrative accounts, and vendor due diligence.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your private information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by the SHIELD Act and any other applicable state breach-notification law.
Your rights
All visitors
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need longer.
California residents
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to your relationship with us, you have the right to know what we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorised agent. Because vozume runs no toll-free line, requests may be made by telephone or by post using the details at the end of this page.
Other US states
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas — have broadly similar rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and opt-out, together with a right to appeal a refused request. We honour these requests on the same basis regardless of where you live.
EU and UK
Where the GDPR applies you additionally have rights to restriction and portability, and a right to complain to your supervisory authority.
International transfers
vozume operates from the United States and our providers are principally US-based. If you are outside the United States, the information you give us is transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not offer the same level of protection as your home jurisdiction. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism with the providers concerned.
Children
vozume sells business-to-business services. The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies
vozume.com sets a small number of cookies, listed individually in our Cookie Policy. We run no advertising pixels and no third-party analytics. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal; because there is still no agreed standard for interpreting it, vozume does not respond to it, and instead limits tracking as described in the Cookie Policy.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top and, where the change is material, tell affected customers directly. Continuing to use vozume.com after a change means you accept the updated policy.
Contact vozume about this policy
